Suruga and Toutomi on the Tokaido road developed during the Edo period as the base of Tokugawa Ieyasu. Since the Meiji era, it's tea leaves has been exported overseas as a representative production area of Japan.
Deep-steamed sencha made from the finest first-class tea leaves. This is the finest sencha with a beautiful light blue color and deep flavor.
You can enjoy it with either cold brew or hot tea. In the case of cold brew, it is best to add room temperature water and let it brew for a slightly longer 20-30 minutes in the refrigerator. For warm tea, brew with hot water below 70˚C for about 1 minute. For the 2nd and 3rd infusions, raise the temperature slightly or lengthen the brewing time.
Enjoy the traditional flavor of Toutomi Kakegawa sencha and spend your days in a healthy state of mind and body.
